What are Colloids?
Colloids are extremely small particles of one substance suspended in another substance. The particles are so small, that they are not visible to the naked eye; neither can they be seen under an ordinary microscope. An electron microscope must be used to examine them.

Small particle size and uniform distribution are the two basic features of every colloid. An electrical charge keeps the particles suspended and evenly distributed so the spacing between them always remains the same. Our colloids do not need shaking before use and they have indefinite shelf life.
